Nothing grand is ever achieved in the comfort zone. Sitting around dwelling in anger, resentment, or hopelessness only holds us back. If we aren’t moving forward, we are stagnating or going backwards. This is such an obvious one, but often a hard one to remember when we’re in a funk.
If we’re lucky we have someone willing to reach out a hand and help us out of our funk, but more times than not, we are on our own. That’s why I love these quotes and reminders. They really encourage me to continue to suit up and show up. Even when we are feeling low, the best remedy is to focus our attention on daily self-improvement, goals, and how we can help others.
